A dress with written words by dolce & gabbana

A dress with written words, which is more than just a t – shirt with a slogan or a publicity stunt. The dress I’m speaking about is a silk cocktail dress, inspired by forties, and with written words by Dolce and Gabbana. Yes, when they presented their latest Fall / Winter 2016 collection, I found them a bit pimp and a tad discounted – mom is always the mom – and you don’t need expensive clothes to remind it, but when I saw this dress again, in one of the photo shot by Peter Lindbergh, it left me without words.

“L’Amour Toujours” is the title of the July 2015 issue for US Vogue, which sees Natalia Vodianova wearing this dress with written words and childish and naive drawings – the one you can make with wax crayons – in a holiday and relaxed atmosphere.

“Mom you are the most beautiful in the world“, “beautiful flower“, “beautiful dressess“, “I would give you necklaces and rings“, simple words that have never seemed so stylish and that, on that bench immortalized by Linderbergh, seem like decorations of a dress for dolls, rather than one of the last leaders who paraded on the catwalk.
