How to style hair on mountains for skiing lovers, for those who just goes to sunbathe and for those who go out at 8am and come back home directly at 8 pm, after the dancing apres ski. The perfect way to be perfect exists and I was lucky enough to talk about it with Marta Calore Hotel Cristallo‘s image consultant  I metduring Cortina Fashion Week (end).

How to style hair on the mountains: be simple is the key word

The wind, the snow, the googles, the helmet hats require a dynamic and fresh style, but still feminine and stylish. Whether you are a daring snowboarding or elegant skiers, you will need some little advice to look at your best in high altitude photos. Some little tips, valid in almost all situations, are possible because there is no longer a difference in dress codes among skiers, snowboarders or even shelters lovers.

We all have the same need: be simple and stylish in a few moves all day long.

Simple perfect tips on How to style hair on the mountains

  1. Loose Side braid: my favorite hairstyle is the braid on one side, in my case the right one, perfect for wavy hair straight hair. Make it loose and let the shorter strands fall slightly forward after removing the helmet a couple of times. The result is a simple hairstyle, but terribly chic.
  2. Unique Braid unique at the back: in this case the maximum result will be obtained after brushing your hair carefully and tied very narrow and precise braid, without leaving strands or tufts on the front.
  3. Two side braids: this hairstyle suits younger, candy candy effect, but very smart. Perfect for snowboarders who do not want to be too aggressive, but deal with a smile any slips.
  4. Ponytail: one of the best hairstyle during sport activity can be thought only low or three-quarters, depending on the type of helmet or hat that you like to wear. Betting on a very colorful clip, perhaps in pandant with anorak or pants. Details are everythin and make a difference.
  5. Loose hair with a band: loose hair are the most difficult to wear for a day on the slopes, especially if you are part of the dynamics team, try to wear a wide band, not too tight otherwise the helmet will hurt and don’t try to stop it with clothespins and similar. The band will allow you to be in perfect order even after removing the helmet for a coffee (Victoria Beckham example)
  6. Disheveled chignon: very suitable for those who do not plan skiing, but prefers to spend time in the sun or in a hat reading or enjoying a glass of wine. Make it with closed eyes looking in the mirroe only at the end.
  7. Wavy hair: this is the hairstyle you can only afford if your only goal is to find a Charming Prince during an apres ski at high altitudes. Wash your hair, dry brush and then quickly wave it with a specific iron. If your hair is very long, try to find someone who can help you.

Never over do with makeup. The best solar protective cream 50+, a BB or CC cream second skin effect, lot of mascara on your eyes and a nude or pink lucid lipstick. Enjoy and be smart! That’s the key!!!
