A minimal and contemporary container. A rich and cosmopolitan collection. The meditative gray concrete all around. An explosion of colors that leave you breathless. A 100% Italian name of a man who has been writing the history of fashion since the ’60s. A young foreign name, whose origin is 50% Italian and 50% Haitian. A woman who has just started writing a new chapter.
An entry in the final scene with one of her most classic piece – a full skirt in African wax print – and a white t-shirt with the words “Mr Armani thank you“.
❣❣❣
This is the second time I’ve been at Stella Jean‘s fashion show. This is the second time I’m looking for the right words to describe a catwalk that, like slides in a slot, shows us the memories of a Summer trip around some of the most iconic spots of the world.
From the French Coast to the Amalfi one. Passing through Saint Tropez and Capri. Crossing Ethnic groups and African traditions of the Burkina Fasu and convincing all the audience that “less is not always more“.
Two main characters affect us immediately.
The originality and creativity of the batik fabrics, the wax prints used for full skirt, capri pants, blazer, shorts and long screwed dresses.
The combination of traditional prints with striped, plaid and denim shirts.
Knotted at the waist, layered on a T-shirt in a fun pin up 50’s style.
Wore open like a blazers with maxi waist belt. Featuring a eye-catching and appealing statement jewelry inspired by the 50’s .
Combined with micro shorts, big glasses and scarf denouncing a clear holiday vibe.
And the feeling is exactly that one. I wish I could keep off my citizens clothes and sneak in, without hesitation, the tight green and striped orange dress… maybe with a denim jacket and a pair of high heels sandals.
❣❣❣

😉
Sei stata chiarissima… <3
I love the outlandish styles you always post- how fun! I adore those patterned slippers; I would totally rock those with some slim-fitting pants and a solid shirt that coordinated with one of the colors in the slippers’ design.
I love animal prints but complete animals present in the design? Not my cup of tea for sure xxx
I love all the outfits here! nice photos 😀

those outfits remind me of Alice in Wonderland! so playful, weird, but cute! 😀 Kumiko Mae, Filipina Beauty Blogger
