I’ve never been to Brazil, but I wish I’ll go a day not too far! I love the idea of this quite wild place where I imagine that the landscape, the music, the dance & the colors make it someway unique! Brazil is not only Havaianas and Adriana Lima! There are a lot of less famous brand I came to know reading and studying…I’ll show you something! Let me know if you already knew and most of all if you like!?!
Brazilian fashion label Morena Rosa enlists two beauties Isabeli Fontana and Caroline Trentini for its Spring-Summer 2012. “The ocean is my source of strength and inspiration. Thank you for stopping by! It’s an inspiration that comes from my heart! I’ll visit you asap! baciii
Brazil is a huge and a very-very heterogeneous country, in which you can find the best things of the first world and the typical ones of the 3rd’s. It’s almost a situation where “countries reside inside countries”. Unfortunately, just the “picturesque” aspects are widespread throuhgout the usual midia, so, it’s extremely common the fact that foreigners just know a little fraction about the real Brazil and its multi-ethnical people…
Brazilian fashion industry is very rich, fascinating and amazing! The editorial market is pretty well and deeply structured. Each fashion publication is a real bliss. Beautiful top models and a lot of wonderful brands, which ranges from regular prêt-a-porter to haute-couture. Oh, by the way, I love Caroline Trentini!!
Oh, you’ve a nice blog 🙂
Ok wow! This is a great comment! I know Brazil is full of contrasts and contradictions…it could seem strange but it’s something I appreciate in almost everything! The editorial market is superb…we could speak a lot about that, probably another post?!?!?…and there is no doubt: Brazilian models are really TOP, probably like the one in the ’90 ( Claudia, Kate, Linda &Cindy).
By the way, you are a great reader and I hope to meet you in my blog and in your often :-). Thank you so much, I appreciate a lot! ❤
You’re welcome! I’m very glad (and flattered) that you liked my comment 🙂 Of course we could speak a lot about these wonderful subjects for sure! And from right now I’m a follower of your blog and I hope you’ll like my posts as well…
Ah, for citation purposes, Southern Brazil is the birthplace of some more than beautiful Brazilian top models as Gisele Bündchen, Caroline Trentini, Ana Claudia Michels, Ana Hickmann, Mariana Weickert, etc. 😉
All the best,
F.
Happy to read this! I’m following you too and check out your blog right now! baciii
Absolutely LOVE the short girly dresses with ruffles! And j’adore the final golden ponytail model. I feel totally inspired by this post – my great grandfather was Brazil born and raised. The wild fashion girl in me is absolutely the Brazilian. 😀
