Here, big names of the Milan Fashion Week calendar have presented their collections: Genny, Les Copains, Burani, Scognamiglio and, from this edition, Alberto Zambelli. Who knows whether this is not the turning point.

Since his very first presentation during ROOM SERVICE – Altaroma’s incubator of talens – two years passed; from the collection entitled Systema Naturae, where for the very first time we touched with hands the floral materic mood and we began the journey toward a fragile, lightweight, yet balanced feminine Universe.

Since that debut in the heart of Rome’s Dolce Vita, Alberto Zambelli has converted something, without forgetting where he has started. A designer should always keep something, like the features on an identity card which can only be enriched by the signs of aging and experience.

Something old, something new for Alberto Zambelli SS’16

The common thread is definitely his whispered aesthetic with a retro flavor.

If the very first collection was “colonized”by the colorful graphic elements – flora and fauna in the scales of vibrant red – today the stylized African monkeys and details are destined to become little lucky charms.

The thousand shades of white are declined in light fabrics and iridescent transparencies are gently supported veils, bohemian bows for an intellectual woman and a valuable and virtuous art of layering.

Sunglasses become masks and shoes | sandals clearly inspired by Eastern. All contribute to creating the image of a woman destined to shine and to travel around the world.
