“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” ― Lao Tzu

“Un buon viaggiatore non ha piani fissi e non è concetrato sull’arrivare” – Lao Tzu
I left a warm and sunny Rome.
I’ve traveled for 9 hours on a plane that I had never heard- I’ve started studying my book about “the history of fashion from XXVIII – XX sec ” and seen “the wizard of OZ” movie.I was hoping to arrive as soon as possible, but then I didn’t want to go out to finish the other film on my screen. I’ve spent a very short time in Toronto. I ate my first hamburger. Fresh air and fresh feelings. I saw the sailboats from the bus and all the cranes that makes this city a “work in progress”.
And then, as an American – to be honest since I’m Italian I’ve suffered a lot – I took the Greyhound to Chicago. I tried to sleep. Stolen pictures of landscapes from the neon signs. Listened to music. Citizen Cope. And thought a lot. Thought that I’m here to see and photograph as many places as possible. With my eyes. With my heart. And mind. That walk in Chicago in the evening. With the smell of fresh rain. The skyscrapers and lights as white as stars have already made me forget the tiredness of the 24 hours of travelling.

Sono partita da una calda e assolata Roma.
