There’s like a subtle fil rouge that connects everything related to creativity: fashion, architecture, art and above all nature. A dress is somehow like the skin that envelopes a building. Chanel said that fashion is a matter of proportions like architecture is and I deeply agree.

Nothing can inspire beauty better than a Natural landscape. Either it is a whimsical exotic one or a painting representing waves in the Ocean.

Finding connections between fashion, architecture & nature is an attitude and those who can easily turn from one discipline to another are full of potentials. Karl Lagerfeld can do that and he doesn’t stop surprising us whit his fashion shows. Can we probably forget his skill in connecting ordinary places – a supermarket last february and a street last time – with fashion collections, can’t we?

As an architect I often try to design an interior inspired by a collection and I re edited the whole S.I.L.K. lookbook thinking about a space with the same meaning and connotation S.I.L.K inspires interior architecture.

An incredible example is the tumblr blog where I found these photos where I see Fashion and I can’t stop looking at these.
