Almost everyday I think at leafs once how much I miss New York. I don’t know exactly what is behind my obsession, but when I’m there I have that certain feeling that everything is possible there.
Everytime I go there it is like I go back home – even if it has never been my place. Everytime I go away I’m leaving there something – even if it’s much more what I bring back with me.
Sometimes I’m wondering if I’m going to live to New York one day. In my dreams the answer is, Yes for sure.

Quasi tutti i giorni penso almeno per una volta a quanto mi manca New York. Non so dire cosa ci sia dietro questa mia ossessione, so solo che quando sono lì tutto mi sembra possibile.
Ogni volta che ci vado è come tornare a casa – anche se casa non è mai stata. Ogni volta che vado via lascio qualcosa – anche se in realtà porto con me luoghi, persone e opportunità.
A volte mi chiedo se un giorno vivrò a New York. Nei miei sogni sicuramente si.

Amazing quote! While I could never live in New York City, I love visiting, and you’re right—there’s so much going on, NYC has so much to offer, and it seems like anything is possible there! It’s an enormous melting pot of people from all different cultures, all walks of life. It’s a pretty amazing city—just a little too crowded and fast-paced for me!
