The 4th of July is certainly not an Italian feast. We don’t celebrate it and perhaps we don’t even know the true meaning. To me, that I have a special love with the States, it has a special meaning. And today, more than usual, my thoughts are with my American friends.

In the United States I’ve always found a second home and I never get tired of saying that in another life I definitely was AmericanI wrote about my love for the States here.

And today I remember the American dream that has captivated every Italian, at least once, and that incredible desire and sense of freedom that I can always feel on endless roads there.

Dress code for the 4th of July? White, red and blue.
