Some people use it to give themselves an intellectual and sophisticated air. Somebody to cover or at least concealed eyes circles. And many others, simply, don’t know how to say no to any new trend.
C’è chi li usa per darsi un’aria intellettuale e sofisticata. Chi per coprire o meglio confondere le occhiaie. Chi semplicemente perché non sa dire di no a nessun nuovo trend.
I have never needed glasses. When I was a little child I would have never wanted it. Because I still remember the “tragedy”, the embarrassment, the insecurity when the unfortunate student came to school with the fear of being kidded. The idea of using these black glasses from the 80 ‘s was in no one’s head. You would do anything to hide and avoid them, even at the cost of not being able to read. But now I have succumbed to the charm of this accessory. A little quirky, a bit chic, slightly classic, but definitely contemporary. I don’t think that there is the perfect outfit to wear them. It’s mostly about the hair. Collected casually. With a high ponytail. Wavy or perfectly straight with a fringe. Once again, I do not think there is a label, but simply it is all a matter of creativity and personality.
Raccolti in modo casualmente spettinato. Con una coda alta. Ondulati o perfettamente lisci con una frangia. Ancora una volta non credo esista un’etichetta, ma semplicemente creatività e stile personale.RAYBAN AND PRADA GLASSES

I love glasses! It’s funny that you mention how embarrassing they were for you growing up. I was the total opposite. I would see kids wear glasses and I wanted to wear them too. I wanted to wear glasses so badly that one day I asked my dad to buy me a pair of non-prescription glasses lol.
Coming from one of those kids who wore glasses (got them in kindergarten) I think they are super cool! The puppy is just too adorable…..
Ei Caroline, now you can say you’ve ever been trendy! Yes the puppy is cute! 😀
I think being very beautiful or a puppy helps the look! Good post.
Haha touche! I agree with you there! The puppy picture is probably the most adorable thing ever.
Ciao Tasmin!
LOL! You are pretty right, the puppy is so sweet, but if you feel comfortable you could be “interesting and sexy”with those maxi glasse…let’s give a try! In the worst hypothesis you can always use it for a puppy or for a cuddly toy 😀
Hahahaha that’s true! Now everybody loves them!
It’s strange like things can change their meaning and how we are influenced by media. Enjoy your saturday! xxx
Btw, Woody Allen like a model!! Hahahah
So true, although i dont wear glasses, everytime i see someone wearing nerd glasses, i wish i did.. 🙂
Call this trend the revenge of short-sighted people!!! HA!

I don’t wear these glasses – no idea about fashion so it would just be another thing for me to lose! I do like the look of them though, and might pick the frame if I ever needed glasses 🙂
hahahah yes it is better not to have those in the bag together with all the “useful” stuff! Just keep it in your mind if you’ll ever need! xxx
Girls with glasses looks sexy.. lol 🙂
I totally agree with you! Love them to see and to wear 😀
Cool 🙂
I love them! I have tried them on… I look terrible in all glasses and it saddens me. Maybe it’s my hair! But I think it’s mostly my cheeks. Love the post!
EIII ciao again! Yessss I’m sure It’s the hair or the type! Even if they seem all the same, there are many different models. The rayban one are very different to wear because they are so black and inclined. You can try Prada’s or less famous brand. Just go to a place where no one is checking you and have fun :D. Let me know if you find one pair you like :*
I totally need to do that! I have never worn glasses, I have pretty excellent vision, but I just think they are adorable! Soon I will get the nerve to sneakily try some more on! Thanks!
I love the 4th picture !!!

We’re the complete opposite — I wanted glasses SO BADLY when I was a kid! I have to wear reading glasses now, and I’m so in love with the big thick wayfarers like the ones in your post. I especially love the picture with the puppy, so cute!! 🙂
