A list of things that I’ll always be ❤

October 17, 2012

Sometimes you don’t need a thousand words, but just one sentence. A look. A caress. The simple goodnight kiss. My mom always gave me when I was a child. And now that I grew up when I’m at home, I give it to her. Because there are things that are not worth forgetting. That you are never too “old”. That you could never be too tired or too angry.  There are things that luckily you understand immediately that are the ones remaining throughout your life. Impressed. Carved. Unassailable. As the pizza cooked in the wood-fired oven at all hours of the day. The Saturday’s sandwiches with fried chips with my father and my brother. The never ending calls with friends. Traveling to London, to Paris and to London again to learn English. And then the cinema at four p.m. because you don’t have to be late. The polaroid photos taken just for fun. The tons of chocolate. The power of fantasy. And the grandparents who do not know how to stop pampering. Tonight I want to go to sleep this way. Thinking of all the good, simple, honest, true things of my life. The things that I’m and that I’ll always be…I hope. Goodnight ❤ ❤ ❤

Stasera voglio andare a dormire così. Buonanotte ❤❤❤

che bella! This was a wonderful post to read … makes us remember the simple things in life are the best!

    • Yesterday I was a little upset and I just tried to remember to myself that I don’t always have to look to something far and difficult. Often what we need is what we already have! But I can’t stop dreaming! xxx
