About sneakers: dedicated to those who dream of a pair of Pigalle

Confusing and complicated, certainly instinctive and cerebrale; that’s the way I can define our relationship with shoes.

“I definitely need a pair of 10 cm high heel”. Next Friday night I’m going out in the cutest place in the center of Rome. So It’s a certain need, even if I’ll be back home at 3 am after miles of cobblestones and bringing them in my hands.

“I need those boots with the retro flavor and the vintage taste“. Perhaps blue because black is too serious and I wore the brown ones when I was at high school.

“Surely I’ll go for a pair of 12 cm high wedges heel with plateau”  because the flower power effect has never gone out of fashion and because someone has convinced me that they are comfortable .

I always do the same mistake and I often go out with heels ending up searching and admiring those people who are perfect with the simplest of the oufit that allow you to move fast and effortlessly, safe and graceful from side to side, either if you are in a street style photography session during Fashion Week or in everyday life. Those who are absolutely trendy with a pair of New Balance,  green or blue, combined with pastel blue trousers or  false black leather ones that wraps you as a sheath .

Those who combine a pair of  Nike blazer with a Céline or for a more sophisticated and expensive look they team a camel coat with Chanel sneakers and thick black wool socks .

The latest shoes I bought?!? décolleté rosse  and a new pair of sneakers.

Sometimes a pair of heels gives you “security and confidence” and you need a big dose of self confidence during Fashion Week, as Anna Dello Russo said.

There is a relationship between the time and the height of the heels .

When you wear them “you’re slower than anyone else ” Garance Doré and Mr Louboutin points out , recalling that ” when a woman wears heels you have the time to look at her and admire. But even a flat shoe can be sexy ” thanks to this image of freedom and lightness” again according to the designer of the red sole .

Well I would say that all of this is true, but why should you choose weather to be ” a high heels babes ” or ” a low heels ones” when you can be both ? ! ?

Confuso e complicato, sicuramente istintivo e celebrale il nostro rapporto con le scarpe.

“Mi servono alte e tacco 10” per il prossimo venerdì sera in quel locale al centro di Roma. Per poi toglierle e portarle in mano alle 3 di notte dopo chilometri di Sanpietrini.

“Ho bisogno di quegli stivali con la tomaia dritta, il sapore retro’ e lo spirito vintage”. Magari blu perché nero è troppo serio e marrone li indossavo al liceo.

“Sicuramente non posso fare a meno di un paio di zeppe con plateu tacco 12” perché l’effetto flower power non è mai passato di moda e perché qualcuno mi ha convinto che sono comode.

Io ci casco sempre: esco con i tacchi e spesso finisco per ricercare e ammirare quegli oufit che risultano perfetti senza sforzo che ti permettono di muoverti veloce, sicura e leggiadra da una parte all’altra, che sia durante le sessioni di street style della Settimana della Moda o nella quotidianità. Sono assolutamente incantata da chi risulta assolutamente trendy con un paio di New Balance, magari verdi o celesti, e un pantalone azzurro pastello o nero in finta pelle avvolgente come una guaina.

Chi abbina le Nike blazer con una Cèline e chi, in una versione più sofisticata e costosa, punta a un cappotto cammello con le sneakers Chanel e le calze di lana spessa.

Le ultime scarpe che ho comprato?!? un paio di décolleté rosse e un paio di sneakers.

A volte un paio di tacchi ti dà “sicurezza e confidenza, ti sembra di volare alto “e spesso ” hai bisogno di tanta fiducia in te stessa” dice Anna Dello Russo.

C’è una relazione tra tempo e altezza dei tacchi.

Quando li indossi “sei più lento di chiunque altro” osserva Garance Doré e Mr  Louboutin puntualizza ricordando che “quando una donna indossa i tacchi hai il tempo di guardarla e ammirarla. Vedi una figura che passa. Quasi un miraggio, hai il tempo di guardare la persona” –  preso da pardon-my-french-a-day-in-heels. 

Ma allora una scarpa piatta può essere sexy ? Beh per fortuna pare di sì “grazie alla immagine di libertà e leggerezza che la contraddistingue” sempre secondo lo stilista della suola rossa.

Beh direi che anche se tutto questo è vero, perché scegliere se essere “tipe da tacchi alti” o “tipe da tacchi bassi” quando si può essere entrambe?!?
