Tell me about your fashion profile part #2
\ SOPHISTICATED \
As I promised let’s go on talking about the psycological side of fashion.
This is one of my favoutite style beacuse it is possible to decline it in many different ways and because I definiely recognize myself in these characteristics.
Psychosocial profile. - You always love manicured nails. – You adore furniture from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. – You prefer to be “vintage” at a couture party and viceversa. – You wach all the latest catwalk on style.com. – Places with bad light are banned (this is absolutely me). You can spend a sleepless night because you are not sure what to wear the next day. Cultivating your style is a full time job.
Your icons. Audrey Hepburn for elegance and style; Monica Vitti as a symbol of Italian Dolce vita.
Your style. Your favourite materials are: satin, silk, wool creep and thick jersey.
Your stylists. Joseph and Yves Saint Laurent. The low budget Zara and Mango. You hate Vuitton fabrics and D.I.O.R bags stamped. You love black but even colors, fur and leopard prints. You adore jewelry even false, as chanel tought us. If you are slim your dress: Cardin, Courrèges, Chloè or Paule Ka.
Adore i mobili anni ’50 – ’60 – ’70.
I tuoi stilisti. Joseph and Yves Saint Laurent. Marchi low budget Zara e Mango. Se sei magro i tuoi vestiti: Cardin, Courrèges, Chloè or Paule Ka.

YSL and Alexander Mc Queen create piece of nature
It’s incredible how many times we can find different forms of nature in fashion world. Mystical atmospheres, natural environments or simply clothes covered with flowers are more common then you can imagine. Just look for it.
When I first saw this dress I just thought “wow”, that’s so cool. I know, it is not properly an “everyday”, but it is like a dream becoming reality.
Laetitia Casta as an YSL bride, SS 1999 couture show
This is a wedding drees and it might seem to belong to the overtly whimsical side of fashion. It consists of two well-positioned wreaths of fabric flowers and it has been shown at the Yves Saint Laurent: an art Made for the Body - MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE MONTRÉAL, MAY 29 TO SEP 28 2008
“Fashion’s role is not simply to make women more beautiful but also to reassure them, give them confidence and allow them to assert themselves.” Yves Saint Laurent
