Just back to Italy, my plane landed about two hours ago in Rome and I’m ready to show you the amazing things I’ve seen. Unfortunately, after wednesday  I had no internet connection and I could not update you directly every night. We had stopped on day 3.
I must say that day 3 was a definitely surreal day. Wake up at 5 a.m. to take two planes from El Cairo to the incredible temple of Abu-Simbel, in the Southern part of Egypt (35°). After one hour spent in the temple, a bus brought us back to the airport, where we were supposed to catch immediately a plane to Hasswan … easy right?!!? We went on the plane and after 10 minutes we had to go down … they made us wait 2 hours in the airport, go on the plane again and 10 minutes after leave it one more time. The plane had technical problems , they couldn’t fix up. After many requests, questions and phone calls they had decided to take us to an hotel to eat and rest. Only at 9 pm we finally took off with another plane and we succeed in our last possibility to embark on Princess Sarah! The place was definitely stunning, but for 1 hour visit we lost a day! The photos are obviously very few because of the shortness of the trip, but I guess enough to perceive the magic of this amazing and sacred place of ancient Egypt! ❤

Appena tornata in italia, il mio aereo è atterrato  circa due ore fa a Roma ed eccomi già pronta a mostrarvi altre cose incredibili che ho visto. Purtroppo da mercoledì non ho avuto più la connessione a internet  e quindi non ho potuto più aggiornarvi in diretta, tutte le sere. Ci eravamo fermati al giorno 3.
Devo dire che quella è stata una giornata veramente surreale. Sveglia alle 5 a.m. per prendere due aerei che dal Cairo ci avrebbero portati all’incredibile tempio di Abu- Simbel, nel Sud dell’Egitto dove c’erano più di 35°. Dopo un’ora passata nel tempio un autobus ci ha riportato all’aeroporto per prendere immediatamente un’aereo per Hasswan…facile no??? Ci hanno fatto salire subito sull’aereo e dopo 10 minuti ci hanno chiesto di scendere…abbiamo aspettato 2 ore, siamo saliti nuovamente  e dopo 10 minuti scesi di nuovo. L’aereo aveva problemi tecnici che non riuscivano a risolvere. Tra varie richieste, domande e telefonate hanno deciso di  portarci – immaginate la nostra perplessità- in un albergo per mangiare e riposarci. Solo alle 9 p.m. siamo finalmente  partiti con un altro aereo che ci è venuti a prendere…tutto questo al limite ultimo per imbarcarci su Princess Sarah! Beh, ok che ne valeva la pena, ma per 1 ora di visita abbiamo perso una giornata!!! Le foto sono ovviamente poche data la breve durata, ma credo siano sufficienti a intuire la magia di questo incredibile luogo sacro dell’antico Egitto!!! ❤
