We all know that fashion fades and only style remains – Chanel taught us many years ago. It’s almost clear to everybody that we are constantly bombed with images, styles, objects, events  and that the quite obvious consequence is a growing confusion that leads us to make wrong choices in fact of style and taste often forgetting taking in account our body figure. I would like to speak precisely about stiletto shoes,  Christian Louboutin’s ones are probably the most illustrious and famous example. I particularly appreciate this type of shoe because it enhances the femininity and sensuality managing to slender the foot, the leg and the body figure. It’s important, however, not to make the mistake of ”killing them” with the wrong combo. I know that not everyone can boast a body as  Olivia Palermo’s and Miranda Kerr’s - I took the two of them as an example- but I say NO if you wear them with trousers below the ankle or with pants laying down on the shoe’s heel, covering it,  or even worst with full length pajamas - trend that I personally find ridiculous . Yes always with skinny jeans, tight pants long to the ankle, with skirts above or below the knee with chiffon or even opaque tights. Sorry for the outburst, but I think the first step towards the real style is to understand and learn how to valorize our body. Am I wrong? What do you think, am I too severe?? xxx

Fashion sfogo. Che le mode passano ma lo stile resta lo sappiamo tutti, ce lo ha insegnato Chanel anni fa. Che siamo bombardati da immagini, stili, oggetti, eventi continuamente…anche!  Questo ci confonde e ci porta spesso a fare scelte di stile sbagliate o addirittura a osare con i cosiddetti “fashion risk”, senza magari tener conto della nostra figura. Vorrei qui parlare delle scarpe stiletto di cui quelle di Christian Louboutin sono uno degli esempi più illustre e famoso. Apprezzo particolarmente questo tipo di scarpa perché esalta la femminilità e la sensualità riuscendo a slanciare il piede, la gamba e la figura. E’ però fondamentale non commettere l’errore di “ucciderle” con l’abbinamento sbagliato. Lo so che non tutti possono vantare un fisico alla Olivia Palermo o Miranda Kerr – che porto qui come esempio-però direi NO se indossate con pantaloni sotto la caviglia che si appoggiano sul tallone della scarpa o larghi e di lunghezza media o peggio ancora con completi pigiama – che personalmente trovo ridicoli. SI, sempre a skinny jeans, pantaloni stretti lunghi fino alla caviglia, gonne sotto o sopra il ginocchio magari con calze velatissime o coprenti. Scusate lo sfogo, ma credo che il primo passo verso lo stile sia capire e imparare come valorizzarsi. Sbaglio? Voi che ne pensate, sono troppo severa??? xxx
