Flamingo Trend with a cool copyright

Flamingo Trend, but with a copyright. The flamingo’s story might seem that it is getting out of hand. Slightly inflated on accessories and gadgets with low cost prints, illustrations and other gadgets, it also has a more sophisticated and refined declination. One of those is the one that sees them protagonists of advertising campaigns – such as the latest Gucci or the one that plays them stylized, graphically designed by designers and famous brands.

Flamingo Trend, all crazy for the pink flamingo

I looked for the pink flamingos both in Sardinia and in Formentera to finally discover, in both cases, it was not the right season of the year. I completely fell into the flamingo trend when I bought an H & M t-shirt for 12.99 Euros and when a friend of mine asked me to create a moodboard on this theme.

Apart from the beautiful animal painted in the perfect shades of peach and salmon, the flamingo trend is likely to become boring and at times naife.

This possibility is remote if the author of shoes and bags is the American brand Kate Spade New York. When it becomes terribly pop in Moschino Cheap and Chic campaigns and if you leave it to decorate beachwears – like Albertine or Wildfox – and outerwear clothing. This is the case of the Vika Gazinskaya‘s coat – that Russian brand worn several times by Miroslava Duma – or on Wayne clothes.

If the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland could not resist the charm of the flamingo, why should we?!?
