Vaudeville or cinema, how is your life?

Vaudeville or cinema? Is your life ironic and improvised, or serious and potentially perfect? For some of us life is a series of unexpected things and improvisation, for others it’s a more established schedule to follow, a series of deadlines and commitments.

Improvisation vs planning, but also reality vs. fiction.

As much as we strive for planning, it’s a fact of life that not everything will go according to our plans. But don’t despair! If it doesn’t, you’ll better make room for that edge of unpredictability that can add that something that can lead to uniqueness.

Vaudeville or cinema is just a metaphor

Immersed as we are in a virtual social life, we have many opportunities to figure out who we want to be, or at least imitate. Would it work? Personally I think between INSPIRATION and IMITATION, the only technique worth trying is the former.

When we tend to imitate, we lose our opportunity to be unique. Perhaps this is the unconscious reason why I like a drawing and a photo for the first 30 seconds and then they tire me forever.

An old and outdated emotion. I need to go some where else.

To amaze is the secret, vaudeville or cinemaaude it doesn’t matter

The only way not to get tired and to be tiring to others is to try to impress. The wonder of a child who sees things for the first time – and who is always happy – the same for an adult that exceeds the limits and puts aside fears, for the first time.

If you copy you’ll never impress. Neither yourself nor even others. If you take other’s attitudes, discoveries and efforts without adding something, you’ll never find your true self. That unique thing that makes you different from the rest of the world.

I like to think that this desire for uniqueness, this research for amazement, is what brings me around and pushes me to look forward.

Sometimes you have to have a partner in crime to succeed in this venture to be anything else.
Just a bit of Conformism. A touch of Nostalgia and a melancholic vibe. Irreverent toward stereotyped clichés of perfection. Naive in the search for something new. Exclusive even in the madness of driving for 150 km, towards a grey sky in the late afternoon, looking for a place to try to capture an inspiration. Give vent to an illusion.
In our suitcase only a few clothes and the famous suitcase full of dreams that sometimes materialize themselves thank to the only power of improvisation.
