Rossella Jardini seems to be one of the few that continues to think and create a certain kind of fashion in a system that tends to scream and cause confusion. The former Moschino’s artistic director, after two years of silence, she has shown us her idea of style, during the Milan fashion week. At the Grand Hotel et de Milan, with a cocktail served in the lobby Rossella Jardini’s style has been shown, illustrating vignettes filtered by a retro glossy film. Anyway the retro vibe remains only the ancient ability to taste things and to create a unique atmosphere that leaves you thinking that this is beauty and style we need.
Rossella Jardini put herself in the collection
“It’s me, my passions, what I wear” – says Rossella speaking of her collection, and also the invitation has an illusration with her face, wearing the typical heavy framed glasses. In this new beginning there is much more about her, but there is also a certain kind of taste sometimes forgotten. The contemporary trend that combines the male wardrobe with the female, using a perfect attitude a la Parisienne. T-shirts à la Marinière, ruffles, voilants and strictly red fingernails. Necklaces, rings and bracelets create an over accessorized look that is not tiring, but rather testifies an attention to detail that can convince us that it is not necessary to be minimalistic to look smart.
Feminine and sophisticated are the Rossella Jardini’s young ladies
The ruffles from the trench go down to the shoes, embellishing the pajamas of an unusual bohemian taste. As the one of a true intellectual is the way in which the tailored suits team polka dots, tartan and decorations. The peplum skirts are combined with feathers and altered to complete with knickers. The emerald green dresses are enriched with cuffs and applications. Each piece has a strong and vivid energy, both individually and taken as a whole. It’s current and timeless. Brash and respectful. Delicate and plentiful. Continuous statements of contrasts, making us different every day, but true to yourself.
