An issue by Mario Testino is not just the theme of the special Vogue magazine February number. It is also the unique party set during MFW. There are events that affect more than others because they have a different power. Join together different creative expressions. And this is the case of the Vogue party in collaboration with Place Vendôme Qatar that has officially unveiled the release of the magazine, conceived as a book, with the Argentinian fashion photographer’s photos, in Palazzo Serbelloni.
An issue by Mario Testino and the positive thinking
Laugh. Play. Fun starring. A special edition focused on the theme of happiness, the essential element in Mario Testino’s artistic vein.
““We often forget the innocence of children, their capacity to laugh about everything, to be light-hearted. When a child laughs, I can’t stop looking at him or her. And this is a feeling that everyone gets”.
Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan became the perfect setting for an art installation where fashion, architecture and art of photography come together to create a unique atmosphere completed by a Rita Ora’s performance.
Colors and iconic characters in an issue by Mario Testino
Photographs by Mario Testino are colored, lit and always dynamic. Show cased printed in giant format on the center pages of an out of scale Vogue. Tons of colors and iconic characters such as Kate Moss portrayed on the photos that perfectly fit the architectural strength of the Palace.
Among the most scenic elements: the projection of photos on the spiral staircase at the entrance.

the presentation looks great
I love Testino’s work! He has this certain eye for fashion and beautiful people that I deeply admire. I remember his quote: “Some people strive for perfect but I often find perfection boring.” Amen to that!
