Dress to impress is a hard job, but it is something every girl wants to experiment. Sometimes the “less is more” theory is not what we are looking. We need to be unique in order to be perfect on special occasions.

Dress to impress is a philosophy of life

We all grow up with the idea that a special dress can change our lives forever – Cinderella docet – and that there is a special dress for any occasion that matters. Some girls prefer to go black, others walk the way of sparkling.

Someone loves to say that “glitters (diamonds originally) are a girl’s best friend” and starlets are proofing it wearing this trend not only on red carpet.

Glitter are a great way to dress to impress

“Glitter works for grown ups” – cit Vogue Britain.

and they work even better on winter evenings when nights are getting darker. So you w0’t be surprised that the Eighties disco mood is back and we are going to sparkle in different ways next season.

You can easily go for grey and silver to be classy and sophisticated {Elie Saab has shown us the right way many times}; you can find yourself in an emerald green tone {Cartier use this for  its best stones}; or you can go black with a bit of creativity. A two pieces – top and skirt – can be an uncommon and very pleasing combination.

Dress to impress is not about money

In the era of shopping online you can have what you want for less. There are many websites, but when we come to evening sparkling dresses with a unique and not too banal touch, British do it better.

I’ve found these pieces on promtimes.co.uk, most of them are under 100£ and I’ve imagined them sparkling in different stylish situations.
