But this is the essence of Burberry‘s collection which refers to the trail to India followed by hippies in the 60s (Tim Blanks). Floral mid-calf smocks in autumn colors of burgundy with cerulean blue that refer to Eastern fabrics and lush fringe. Lace dresses made of different lightness. Anklets, necklaces and earrings.

Everything points to an imaginary halfway between East and West: the refinement of detail typical of exotic East and the Western taste for tailored dresses, for cult pieces like the trench, over-the-knee suede boots and the refined elegance.
