Diorshow SS 2016 women not just a fashion show, but the praise of temporary architecture in bloom. 48h to build an artificial hill and create a piece of nature within the city. Raf Simons is neither the first nor the last to associate the idea of beauty to a flower meadow. Delphinium blue inspired by the South of France.

Diorshow SS 2016 women invites us to stop

An idea of purity and femininity that invites you to take a break. A stop to let you admire beauty in life. A trend that is the opposite of fast fashion, but thinks abouth clothing that will last over time, evolving.

The love for nature and flowers – a hill of blue delphinium – ties him to the founder of the Maison and this enchanted poetry is continously celebrated during Simon’s latest shows.

This year is the apotheosis. A hill becomes the set of Diorshow that is transformed into a light and pure white space inside. It is not only the celebration of the desire of green and nature in the courtyard of the Louvre. It’s the testimony that the green inspirion spreads  like the beauty of piece of clothing made to last forever.
