They will also be less known to big the public then a Dior or a Coco, but they are loved and appreciated by those who prefer studying fashion before than wearing it.For Roberto Capucci fashion is the fusion of nature and geometry.Nature was his inspiration and geometry the structure that holds up his clothes, elaborating creation where fabrics and patterns are shaped like sculptures.

This butterfly dress, made of pleated rainbow silk taffeta, is imagined as a single piece which forms a giant bow from the shoulders to the feet.

It is no coincidence that the Italian designer has been called the “Givenchy of Rome” (1957, Alison Adburgham).
