On the street of Manhattan

“Mi sveglio ogni mattina e dico a me stessa: ” Bene, sono ancora a New York. Grazie a Dio” – Ed Koch.

This is what I’ve found written on the pavement walking on the 58th Street, very close to the 5th avenue.

This is what I’ve been repeating to myself since I hit the Big Apple and even if I know it won’t last, I can’t miss this opportunity to be simply happy.

Questo è quello che ho trovato scritto sul pavimento passeggiando sulla 58th strada, quasi all’incrocio con la 5th Avenue.

Questo è quello che mi ripeto da quando sono qui e anche se so che non durerà ancora per molto, non perdo occasione di essere semplice felice.

Ed Koch è stato il Sindaco di New York dal 1978 al 1989.
