America love 4th of july

Between me and America there has always been a special relationship.
I often say that in another life I was American. I was driving from the age of sixteen, partying at Thanksgiving, going to the college and doing pajamas parties in my bedroom on the second floor of a villa with garden and barbecue.

I do not regret my 100% Italian and European origins, but I think that in that vast and relatively young land there is a bit of each of us.

To my friends who live in the States and who continue giving me affection and boundless hospitality I dedicate today’s post.

Tra me e l’America c’è sempre stato un rapporto speciale.
Dico spesso che in un’altra vita io ero americana.
Guidavo dall’età di sedici anni, festeggiavo il giorno del ringraziamento, aspiravo ad andare al college e facevo i pigiama party nella mia cameretta al secondo piano di una villa con giardino e barbecue.

Non rinnego le mie origini europee e 100% italiane, ma credo che in quella terra sterminata e relativamente giovane ci sia un po’ di ognuno di noi.

Ai miei amici che vivono negli States e che continuano a regalarmi affetto e ospitalità sconfinata dedico il post di oggi.
