The urban minimalist lady by Moon Young Hee @ PFW

In the heart of the Marais at 11.00, during a cloudy but clear morning. In one of the longest sides of the picturesque Place des Vosges , through a small courtyard that leads to the Gallery which hosts my first show of Paris Fashion Week A completely white space where the total brightness is blending despite of the gray Parisian sky. Skylights and trusses. As in a movie set. To the tune of ” Tom ‘s Diner ” by Suzanne Vega the first model enters.Total black and oversized volumes. The soft fabrics are treated like surfaces. Pure white on masculine cuts. The woman of Moon Young Hee is ” overdressed “. Long dresses over abundant trousers. The Tweed typically of Old England style is paired with light shirts vaguely romantic in the transparencies and puffy sleeves worn under vests and coats. The blue combined with black, like YSL has often shown us. Hairstyles with an oriental flavor just as much as the vibe of coats and jackets  gathered at the waist point such as kimonos; contemporary, revised and  totally transformed into an  urban matter .

Nel cuore del Marais alle 11.00 di una mattina nuvolosa ma limpida. In uno dei lati lunghi della suggestiva Place de Vosges, attraverso un piccolo cortile si accede alla Galleria che ospita la mia prima sfilata della Settimana della Moda di Parigi. Un ambiente completamente bianco, dalla luminosità quasi accecante nonostante il cielo grigio Parigino. Lucernari e travi reticolari. Come in un set cinematografico. Sulle note di “Tom’s Diner” di Suzanne Vega entra la prima modella.Total black e volumi oversize. Tessuti morbidi trattati come superfici. Bianco puro su tagli maschili. La donna di Moon Young Hee è “overdressed”. Vestiti lunghi su pantaloni abbondanti. Il tweed tipicamente Old England abbinato a camicie leggere dal sapore vagamente romantico nelle trasparenze e nelle maniche a sbuffo indossate sotto gilet e cappotti. Il blu combinato al nero, come YSL fa da decenni e acconciature raccolte dal sapore orientale. Così come alcuni capispalle che si stringono in vita, come kimoni, contemporanei, rivisitati e reso totalmente urbano.
