{Fall diary} a small collage of my life

I’m looking at the new just arrived month  with an unusual curiosity and a fearless waiting. I color my agenda with notes and memos . The do’s are transformed into emotions and projects when what you do coincides with what you have always wanted to do. And then, there is my past week end full of ‘mini trips’. Some of those organized at the last second. For work and for pleasure. And I’ve discovered corners of my country that I have forgotten. How precious and shining is the sea in autumn! How close & beautiful is an island as Sardinia. And I’ve always thought that a place like that has an identity only in summer, but in reality it is just in the summer season that it wear a mask.

Guardo il nuovo mese arrivare con un’insolita curiosità e intrepida attesa. Coloro l’agenda di note e appunti. Impegni che diventano emozioni e progetti quando quello che fai coincide con quello che avresti sempre voluto fare. E allora ci sono dei mini viaggi organizzati all’ultimo secondo. Alcuni per lavoro ed altri per piacere. E scopro angoli del mio Paese che avevo dimenticato. A come è prezioso e luccicante il mare in autunno. A quanto sono vicine isole come la Sardegna che sembrano avere una identità solo d’estate, ma che in realtà é proprio in quella stagione, che indossano una maschera.

Almost surreal is the Summer atmosphere during the first day of November. Chilly air and rainy weather the next day in Perugia. It almost seems December. When the humidity envelops my body and my mind. When you wrap your body in a woolen sweater with silk threads . When the skin rests and recovers its whiteness, away from the rays of the sun. When the glass of red wine at 6 p.m. warms your mind and your heart. It’s amazing how many things have come together, overlapping, crossing over this period. Fashion with Architecture, design with friends. November you are very welcome this year! And you could not introduce yourself in a more exciting way.

Un’atmosfera estiva quasi surreale e immobile il primo giorno di novembre. Un’aria frizzante e piovosa il giorno dopo a Perugia. Sembra dicembre. Quando l’umidità avvolge il corpo e la mente. Quando ti avvolgi nel maglione di lana intrecciato con i fili di seta. Quando la pelle si riposa e ritrova il suo candore lontana dal sole. Quando il bicchiere di vino rosso delle 6 ti scalda la mente e il cuore. E’ incredibile quante cose si sono unite, sovrapposte, incrociate in questo periodo. La moda all’architettura, il design agli amici. Benvenuto novembre! E non potevi che presentarti in un modo più entusiasmante.
