While I’m writing, the Grand Canyon is calling me. There are days that are mostly traveling time. But the miles are never the same. From Oklahoma City to Texas.
❣❣❣
The landscape changes as the temperature changes. We are approaching the desert and we can feel it. In an almost suffocating heat, we took refuge in western goods shops, in Stockyards city – I have a little ‘burgled’ and then visit a touching Memorial before leaving the city. A surreal peace and tranquility. Two portals that mark the time in which a part of the city is changed forever. With this in image in our eyes, and heart, with no words, no courage to talk each other, we got in the car. Tutumcari direction. Unique, highly recommended stop for the American spirit and Texan, is the big Texas ranch — look at the pictures to believe it.

Hey, looks like a great time, you have there!!! I know so many people traveling in this area … Seems everbody spending theirs time in Texas, New Mexico, Nevada..in National Parks, except me 🙁
I know what you mean, but I’m sure your turno will come soon. Where do you live?
Thank you to cmfort me 😉
I live in Berlin, Germany..
I haven’t been to that town but Welcome to Texas from Dallas… 🙂
I have already left it. Dallas is a famous city in Italy…is it cool to live there?
Really?that’s Interesting I didn’t know that. I moved here from my hometown Los Angeles in 2006 I thought I’d try it out for a couple years then move back or somewhere new but I’m still here so I guess I probably like it more than I even think I do. I like where I live I’m just 10-15 minutes from Downtown and ‘Deep ellum’ east of downtown which is the best area for live music, Bars and more Artistic, interesting people to hang out have a beer at a Bar with.there are definitely some very ‘Posh’ areas of town to live or go out it’s not really my scene but hey it is for many people. though it’s inland so there’s no beaches like I grew up with in California there are a number of cool Lakes/parks to go when I want to get outdoors for a run or just read in the park or whatever. also Houston Austin and San Antonio are short trips 4-5hrs away Austin is probably the coolest’ though I know Houston the best. I do want to move with the next year or two but it’s more to experience something new I’ll probably miss this town more than I expect too it’s definitely more affordable than most cities this size or bigger
I think I’ve always known, but now I can confirm that, as almost all the Italians of my age and even the youngest, I’ve grown up watching American movies and many habits are yours and not ours :). “Dallas” is the name of a TV series my mom used to watch and it is all about the posh part you are talking about – rich people, love stories and so on-. I feel European in my soul, but I’d like to think I was American in another life. I feel at Home while I’m here. Even if everything is so different. I live in the center of Rome and when I go out I see the Colosseum, but i love all the space you have here. And most of all I adore this feeling of freedom that make me think that every thing could because reality. I’ll be to California for my very First time in 3-4 days and I really can’t wait. Here people say Los Angeles is a terrible city (too crowded, too big, too overwhelmed), but I wanna see it with my eyes. Thank you for sharing part of your life with me
oh I definitely have heard plenty about ”Dallas’ in Dallas but I never watched it, lol btw I think you’ll love LA but I am biased to my hometown 🙂 Thank you too for cool conversation!
i ahvent been to that part of exas but i live in san antonio texas XD
I have never been to San Antonio and this has been my very first time here. I liked it, but it was pretty hot. Is it always like this?
