that strange feeling that pushes you to go, go & go without never stop

quella strana sensazione che ti spinge a girare, girare, girare senza sosta
There is a strange and unconscious quietness in American cities. They are very different from those in Europe. Even when you are inexplicably in a tourist place like Forrest’s Bubba Gum. For my inner nature I tend to refuse too advertised places…but somehow I remain enchanted once there. Something attracts me. Catch me. Phrases and places seen on a cinema screen become my set for a while and one of the highest view of the city could make me feel like Alice in Wonderland. A walk in the park of the Naivy Pier. Eclectic harbor close to Michigan Ave. A stop by Abercrombie at Water Tower and a walk aimlessly in the streets of a city that on Friday night switches on with all the lights and life. And this is definitely a special weekend. An explosion of colors, sounds and acute and intriguing emotions in the village of Lollapalooza. Young and not so young rockers and electronic music lovers here…ready to drink their elixir of eternal youth. While I’m writing I am leaving Chicago. Arrivederci Chicago

Goodbye Chicago

By the way. Saw this purse I thought you’d like. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=634621179895209&set=a.303214183035912.82358.303013523055978&type=1&ref=nf
oh I love it :). Is it from someplace close your city? I’ve heard about Seattle, but never been there. A friend of mine who lives in LA told me it’s a great city! Isn’t it?
The purse is off Facebook and I think from some Balkan or Fed. Russian province.
Seattle’s a fine city. And in the summer there are few places nicer. (Our rain, other months, makes everything greener.) Glad you’re enjoying yourself.
Quasi esotica…. Divertiti cara!
Hey there, if you and Mr come father west shoot me an email. Seattle, Portland, L.A.
Enjoy Chicago.
Benjamin
Hey Benjamin, is Seattle Portland close to L.A.? as you imagined we are driving to California from San Diego to San Francisco being there 15 days. It would be cute to meet. Don’t know if it’s on the road – distances in America are so much bigger than Europe. xxx
The west coast is all fairly close and I travel as much as possible. 2 hr flight easy to get to LA from where I live in the Pacific NorthWest
we have the car until August 26th, so we can’t live it somewhere 🙁
Ciao Mari, oh finalmente ho visto dove sei andata in vacanza :), bellissimi foto e divertiti tanto ! Xoxo

Nice Pictures! Very crisp and clear. I know I say it all the time, but I gotta’ quit using my iPhone 4s for important pix. I LOVE Chicago in August and September. The Green grass and mud smells so sweet! Did you see NIN, the Cure or New Order at Lala? I almost made it there this year, but didn’t have time to fill out my vacation request. (What a super stupid excuse when I think about it on a Sunday Morning..UGH) Have a nice week!
Beautiful pictures!
