“Urbs in horto”…”city in a garden“…this is the motto Chicago choose in 1837 and I guess it’s correct. This place is amazingly green inspired ❤

Once you arrive in a new city everything has a different look and a different flavor. My first day in Chicago started at 5.30 a.m. Maybe the jet lag. Or maybe that unexplained feeling of emotion. I had breakfast at home. Cereals and milk with coffee. Because I like to keep some fixed point. In 15 minutes we were on Michigan Ave. Where everything happens. From the stage of Lollapalooza – I a top with a date. Because there are numbers that should be mentioned. And 2013 is one that. The tour of modern architecture. In a city that I knew since the first year of University. The California sandwich from Bakery Corner and the 20 minutes nap lying down in the park. Without shoes on the wet and fresh grass. And then, obviously the first round of shopping. With poor results. At Forever XXI I’ve been overwhelmed by weird and very cheap clothes. Maybe too much that I did not buy anything thinking about what Miranda Presley (The Devil Wears Prada) would say.
The Fashion event at Gap. Music, food and drink plus with a 30% discount, some bloggers and very nice people. The aperitif on the terrace of “The wit”. A breathtaking view and a whimsical sensation of being so far away by my Country, but feeling at home. Finally dinner at the Cheese factory. I don’t know how many hours my day lasted, but at 10,30 p.m, I was sleeping on my feet.

O forse l’emozione. Ho fatto colazione a casa. Cereali e latte con caffè. Perché qualche punto fermo mi piace conservarlo. In 15 minuti eravamo su Michigan Ave.

Buon matrimonio! Si scrivimi
How fun! <3 P.S. Love that lace dress!
At the end I didn’t buy it :(. It was very cheap, but the quality seemed very poor. Not sure what to do. Have you ever used forever XXI clothes?
Chicago looks cool. I`d love to visit it some day (along with a few other great American cities). Always nice to see cities giving over space to trees and parks. What is that building though in the photo right after the first photo of the sculpture headed by flowers? It looks like the mechanics of a clock or something.
It is cool. Now the Sun in on :). It has rained all night. That picture is the “All Saints” boutique and that wall is all covered with sewing machines. The effect was great!
Wow, I must look at that picture again!! Sewing machines eh? By the way what does Miranda Priestley say about cheap clothes? I have watched The Devil Wears Prada but I don`t quite remember what she said.
The concept is never buy and wear acrylic, synthetic and bad quality clothes that immediately make you feel bad dressed. I love buying a lot, so I often buy from this low coast stores…but I’m trying to buy less and better. What do you think :)?
want more! pleeeeaseeeee!
<3
