If there were a green inspiration prize that definitely would go to Abed Mahfouz. For the palette of colors inspired by nature. From mint green to aquamarine, from cherry red to burgundy, from yellow to the color of the sand washed by the waves and sunlit. A sparkling explosion, like fireworks in a botanical garden.
❣❣❣
After Antonella Rossi‘s catwalk we run to Borgo Santo Spirito to find ourselves catapulted into a set inspired by a botanical garden, where the different clothes came out as buds in bloom.
It’s raining glitter.
The soft and delicate materials, Chantilly lace, Illusion tulle, the Crin, the filet and the silk crepe are mixed with ornamental elements. A shower of gems, brochures and metallic fabrics that give a texture and a body to the clothes. Almost all long down to the floor with straight lines or Mermaid cut. Provocative split and bare backs. Sophisticated flowers made of subtle leaves and numerous petals embroidered at cross-stitch on delicate and light fabrics . For a woman who is costumed to be a diva.
“I wanted to arouse in the spectator a fatal attraction similar to the one that attracts a magpie-thief against all that glitters”, the words of Abed Mahfouz … and I would say that you have greatly succedeed.
❣❣❣
