Six days full of events and emotions … the triumph of creativity and research experienced in months of hard work explicated in twenty minutes of intense show … that leaves you breathless … that lights the mind and the heart and that now more than ever … makes you think. From now on I will explain why … thanked to Alta Roma that has brought the Haute Couture on the Spot in the Ethernal City.

Sei giorni carichi di eventi ed emozioni…il trionfo della creatività e della ricerca maturata in mesi di duro lavoro per venti minuti di spettacolo intenso…che ti lascia senza fiato…che ti illumina la mente e il cuore e che…oggi più che mai ti fa anche riflettere. Da oggi vi spiegherò perché…grazie a Alta Roma che ha puntato i riflettori sull’Alta Moda nella Città Eterna.

Fabio Quaranta e la Dolce Vita

Today is the fifth consecutive day and I still can’t believe the huge amount of creativity and ferment AltaRoma has managed to bring to my City – Rome. Catwalks and fashion events are scheduled following a continuous and strict calendar.  I’m doing everything possible not to miss anything. I’ve already taken 2000 photos (not exaggerating!!!).

I can’t wait to tell you everything in detail, from the music of the catwalks to the strong feelings each designer has been able to communicate making us enter their dreams and their view of fashion, told us as contemporary fairytales.

Fairytales made of princesses who, with a slow pace, a proud look and a French allure are inspired by Maria Antonietta in the GIADA CURTI‘s “Bandeau d’Amour“.

Volumes, surfaces and textures have dressed the models, like contemporary architecture in motion, in the magnificent location of the Pelanda, few minutes from the place where I’ve studied architecture.

And this was only the pre-opening, the prelude to what would come later.

An unexpected backstage, made up of shades inspired by the colors of the sky, the winter, maybe in the North, where the Sun rarely peeks up. And then lots of white, beige, iridescent and bright fabrics for “NATASHA PAVLUCHENKO“. A doll or a delicate woman?

Glossy surfaces “as the roofs wet from the rain” for LEONID ALEXEEV and then a race to the most incredible Roman countryside to participate in the Polo Fashion Day with the  NINO LETTIERI fashion show and his oriental atmosphere.

From the  “Campagna Romana”  to one of the most spectacular terraces of the “Dolce Vita“. The suite of 220 square meters at Baglioni hotel in Via Veneto lived by the models, the unusual inhabitants of this wonderful apartment dressed by FABIO QUARANTA. A  “bohemian aristocrat” style??? – “Maybe!” the fashion designer responded in an elusive way. He probably escapes from the labels, not to be cataloged and harnessed in a style.

Even for ANGELO BRATIS the recall of being in Rome is important and he has opened the door to a wonderful courtyard for his four colored clothes illuminated by neon.

Last Saturday ended with an explosion of elegance. Layers of fabrics, precious patterns tissued with wisdom. The woman thought by MIREILLE DAGHER was a woman who has an elegance of high impact. The reference to the East World is strong, as well as the desire to be noticed and admired.

My preview stops here. Because what happened on Sunday, Monday and what is happening today can not be presented in pills.

The desire to share accurate details what I have seen is is compelling. For each designer I’m going to publish a special article. Showing you what is beyond.

Because I’m living this experience at 100% and I’m going to share it fully with you.

Ormai è il quinto giorno consecutivo e ancora non posso credere a quanta creatività e fermento AltaRoma è riuscita a portare nella nella mia Città – Roma. Gli eventi e le sfilate si susseguono con un calendario continuo e sto facendo il possibile per non perdere nulla.
 
Non vedo l’ora di raccontare in dettaglio l’impegno e la creatività di ogni singolo stilista che ci hanno fatto entrare nei loro sogni e nelle loro favole.
 
Favole di principesse che con passo lento, sguardo fiero e allure francese si sono ispirate a Maria Antonietta nella sfilata “Bandeau d’amour” di GIADA CURTI.
 
Volumi, superfici e textures hanno vestito le modelle, come architetture contemporanee in movimento, nel magnifico spazio della Pelanda a due minuti da dove ho studiato architettura.
 
E questa era solo la giornata pre-opening, accennato preludio di quello che sarebbe avvenuto dopo.
 
Un inaspettato backstage, fatto di tinte ispirate ai colori del cielo, in inverno, magari del Nord, dove il sole raramente fa capolino. E quindi tanto bianco, beige, tessuti cangianti e luminosi per “NATASCHA PAVLUCHENKO“.
 
Superfici lucide “come i tetti bagnati dalla pioggia” per LEONID ALEXEEV e poi una corsa verso la più incredibile campagna romana per partecipare al POLO FASHION DAY con la sfilata di NINO LETTIERI e le sue atmosfere orientali.
 
Dalla campagna romana a uno dei più spettacolari terrazzi della dolce vita. La suite di 220 m2 dell’hotel Baglioni in Via Veneto. E le modelle, gli insoliti abitanti di questo meraviglioso appartamento vestite da Fabio Quaranta. Uno stile “aristocratico bohemien???”  – “può essere!” mi ha risposto sfuggente lo stilista che, come tutti, forse rifugge alle etichette, per non essere catalogato e imbrigliato in uno stile.
 
Anche per ANGELO BRATIS il richiamo della romanità è importante e ci ha aperto le porte di un meraviglioso cortile per i suoi quattro abiti illuminati da neon colorati.
La giornata di sabato si conclude con un’esplosione di eleganza. Strati di tessuti preziosi, modelli regali. La donna di Mireille Dagher è una donna che possiede una eleganza di alto impatto. Il rimando all’Oriente è forte, così come la voglia di essere notati e ammirati.
 
La mia anteprima si ferma qui. Perché quello che è successo domenica, lunedì e quello che sta succedendo oggi non può essere presentato in pillole.
 
La voglia di condividere qui in dettaglio tutto quello che ho visto è enorme. Per ogni stilista dedicherò un articolo speciale, provandovi a mostrare quello che c’è oltre
 
Perché questa esperienza l’ho vissuta al 100% e la documenterò a pieno.
