Here, the autumn has not arrived yet. A light rain washes the streets. At night. Without any noise. Almost surreptitiously. If it were not for the glow and the unusual lucidity of the liquefied asphalt.
Qui l’autunno ancora non è arrivato. Una leggera pioggia bagna le strade. Di sera. Di nascosto. Quasi senza farsene accorgere.
It’s Wednesday and I would force myself to program. The rest of the week. My work. My Ph.D. I’m not talking about it from September. It doesn’t mean I’ve finished. Simply I’ve to look for inspiration again. Too taken by other projects. Many small dreams and hopes. Little new projects I hope to talk to you soon. Busy to do and undo all the activities such as a Penelope’s Canvases.
And while I’m busy sewing everything together by an invisible thread, I wait for the right moment to wear the first maxi pull… dreaming to be wrapped with its warm and soft plot… looking for a way to replace the beloved duvet during the day. Either if it has a glamour cut, perfect for the day and for the evening…or it is knitted and embellished with lace and silk inserts … Drowned in the powder. In neglected and burned colors as the autumn foliage or inspired by the subtle shades of gray and early sky… I’m trying to resist the temptation to fill virtual carts to make sure that the cold will never surprise myself unprepared!
So, hoping to avoid acting on impulse I ask those of you who have already given up summer fabric and textures tips, advice & “must have” I can’t miss ❤.

Love your pics. My must have cooler climate wear is a wool cardigan over a tank, tee or cashmere sweater. Layering at its finest!
Good tip! Layering is my favorite choice too! In Italy we say ” dressed like a onion” (I don’t know if it makes any sense for you 😀
It makes perfect sense to me! And apparently is a great worldwide tip.
Love this Trend! Good Post, we can’t get enough of this.

Cmq in architettura o meglio in paesaggio.

Love all these sweater!!
Reblogged this on netportfolios.
Fabulous look Mari!!!! One of my all time favourites. Feels like a sporty dress somehow…So feminine and I love playing with the proportions – skinny legs under, heels or chunky boots. Perfect autumn dressing because it’s a shame to wear a coat over the top don’t you think?
Exactly! Come te adoro i contrasti, le proporzioni discordanti. Il largo con lo stretto. Il Lungo con il corto. Il leggero con il pesante
LOVE THIS!
