I turn on my mac.  I’m looking for iconic images. It’s days I have a post in my mind. It’s days I can not even start to write it.  My mind starts wandering. Creativity can not be rationalized. Creativity can not be channeled. I watched the missed runaway from PFW. I stopped on the new fall advertising campaigns. I’ve suddenly been kidnapped. Just like Alice, I fell into the hole. Overwhelmed by an unstoppable vortex. Captured by images and words. Kidnapped, for the umpteenth time, by a fashion photographer. Jurgen Teller. I begin to read and to open new pages. I find photos that I have already used. Finally I know the author. I discovered that he has been working with Marc Jacobs since 1998. With Vivienne Westwood. With Céline and with Sofia Coppola. He is provocative. He loves location immersed in nature. Acid and bare interiors. He portrays disturbing images. He said ” an handbag could be beautiful but it is still an handbag-, what makes it really fascinating is the woman who gives it life”. How many other creative talents are hidden somewhere? Have you ever thought about that?

Accendo il mac. Cerco immagini iconiche. Sono giorni, ormai, che ho in mente un post. Sono giorni che non riesco neanche a iniziare a scriverlo. Mi accorgo che la mia mente divaga. La creatività non è razionalizzabile.  La creatività non è incanalabile.  Guardo le sfilate della PFW che ho perso. Mi soffermo sulle campagne pubblicitarie autunnali. Improvvisamente vengo rapita. Proprio come Alice, cado nel vuoto. Travolta da un vortice inarrestabile. Rapita da immagini e parole. Catturata, per l’ennesima volta, da un fotografo di moda. Jurgen Teller. Comincio a leggere e ad aprire nuove pagine. Riconosco foto che ho usato altre volte. Finalmente hanno una firma. Scopro che lavora con Marc Jacobs dal 1998 . Con Vivienne Westwood. Con Céline e con Sofia Coppola. E’ provocatorio. Ama i set immersi nella natura.Gli interni acidi e spogli. Ritrae immagini inquietanti. Quanti altri creativi ci sono ancora nascosti chissà dove? Ci avete mai pensato?
