After driving for almost 900 km from Alicante we finally arrived, at sunset time, in Montpellier. I couldn’t imagine how poetic this city is. I was definitely surprised even if before arriving I read somewhere that the writer Guy de Maupassan was choose this place as a source of inspiration. The arch de triomphe marks the entrance to the city. The atmosphere is quite and calm at the beginning, but when you start entering the city it becomes chilly and full of creativity. A small collective garden obviously caught my attention. The little squares with soft music and drinks in shining glasses on tables with red candles captured us after few minutes. My memories of this place are a soft and gold light enchanting the atmosphere of the place. Do you agree?
Dopo aver guidato per circa 900 km da Alicante, siamo finalmente arrivati, al tramonto, a Montpellier. Non potevo immaginare quanto poetica fosse questa città. Sono rimasta sorpresa nonostante avevo letto prima di arrivare che lo scrittore Guy de Maupassan l’aveva scelta come fonte di ispirazione. L’arco di trionfo segna l’ingresso alla città. L’atmosfera è calma e tranquilla all’inizio, ma non appena ti addentri nelle stradine diventa frizzante e piena di creatività. Un piccolo giardino collettivo ha immediatamente catturato la mia attenzione. Le piccole piazze con la musica che suonava leggera e i drink in bicchieri scintillanti su tavoli con candele rosse ci hanno catturato dopo pochi minuti. I miei ricordi di questo posto sono una luce soffusa e dorata che incanta l’atmosfera del posto. Siete d’accordo?

Mi piace moltissimo arrivare ad un posto nuovo verso sera. Specialmente d’estate quella luce d’oro. Hai catturato perfettamente quel senso di anticipazione che spesso si prova in vacanza, non trovi? Bravissima come sempre. xx
sì diciamo che quella luce è bellissima per fare le foto, anche se dura poco e dopo tutto è più difficile, ma io adoro fare foto…quindi ogni sfida è una buona opportunità. Buona domenica!
