I stopped writing in Portofino – Italy – and now I am still in Spain, arrived in the Andalusian city of Seville, yesterday night. It’s been ten days since I wrote here last time. Since then, I visited four cities. Since then, I made my first real course of Surf. Yesterday I did my last lesson, exciting, intense and 100% fun, probably for the first time, with less fear and agitation. If I close my eyes what I see around me are only waves, waves and more waves. The only thought of last days was to sit on my board in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and to wait for the best wave. I met great instructors, fellow travelers and friends for “fiesta por la noche”. I have been afraid many times, but I can not wait surfing again. I’m starting telling about my trip from here, because this is what I have in my heart and mind, now.

Ho smesso di scrivere a Portofino, in Italia e ora sono ancora in Spagna, arrivata ieri nella Andalusa città di Siviglia. Sono passati dieci giorni. Da allora ho visitato quattro città. Da allora ho fatto il mio primo vero corso di Surf. Ieri l’ultima lezione, emozionante, intensa e per la prima volta davvero divertente, con meno paura e agitazione. Se chiudo gli occhi intorno a me onde, onde e ancora onde. L’unico pensiero di questi giorni è stato trovarsi in mezzo all’Oceano Atlantico e aspettare il momento migliore per provare a cavalcare l’onda giusta. Ho conosciuto istruttori fantastici, compagni di viaggio e “fiesta por la noche”. Ho avuto paura tante volte, ma non vedo l’ora di tornare a surfare. Comincio a raccontarvi il mio viaggio da qui, perché è quello che in questo momento mi ha preso il cuore e la mente.

Yay! Surfing is a difficult sport, I’ve tried numerous times in Santa Cruz and San Diego, I got up twice most times just on my knees…still fun though!
wow you are so lucky you could surf there. I’m start planning how to go to Hawaii or to California asap. It’s difficult but if you have a good teacher you can learn quickly! thanks a lot for your comment!
