Marinière: a trend or just a declination of a striped look or…

a timeless style!!!

I’ve often wondered if somehow is my name – Marina – (that in English literally mean marine) to make me adore the sea, the boats, surfing and everything somehow related to  water. In reality, then I think that these are things and activities loved, more or less,  by everybody. Probably because they have a lot in common with summer, leisure time and nature. As it often happens when something is fascinating and beautiful, fashion is there to “help us” or “to offer” its own way of seeing things . While collecting these images, I wondered if this nautical trend, or màriniere, is just a declination of a simplest striped look, or has its own identity? Or, is it just inspired to an Army like the military’s one? However, said all that, this style fascinates me a lot, because it is a classic, timeless trend…what about you?

uno stile senza tempo!!!

Spesso mi sono chiesta se in qualche modo è il mio nome – Marina – a farmi adorare il mare, le barche, il surf e tutto ciò che ha in qualche modo a che fare con l’acqua. In realtà poi mi rispondo da sola che è abbastanza evidente che sono cose che amiamo più o meno tutti perché hanno a che fare con l’estate, il tempo libero e la natura.
E come sempre quando si parla di cose affascinanti e belle, la moda è sempre lì ad “aiutarci” o a proporci il suo modo di vedere le cose. Raccogliendo queste immagini mi sono chiesta se questo trend nautico, o màriniere è banalmente una declinazione di un più semplice look a strisce, o ha una sua propria identità? O é semplicemente ispirato e basato su una divisa di un arma come lo stile militare? – che non mi piace un granché? A volte mi sorge il dubbio che gli stilisti spesso non facciano altro che declinare ciò che siste da sempre?!? Comunque detto ciò, a me questo stile affascina molto, perché rimane comunque un classico senza tempo, e a voi?
