Bloomers: yes or not???

Talking about Bloomers absolutely need an introduction. First of all I have to admit my ignorance and I truly confess that I have heard this term for the first time today. I was looking for images for another subject  and I came through, by chance, in these cute types of “shorts” which, of course, I already knew the existence.
They are made by very different patterns and fabrics and we find them from the catwalk to the underwear shops. Bloomer is nothing but the surname of the stylist that made them popular in 1850 although at that time they weren’t short, but long and curled at the ankle. Ok, after this brief cultural remark 🙂 let’s go back to us …do you like them? Are you wearing this style? Concerning me?!? Yes, I like them although I should admit that I prefer the night version or the beach one even if the red bloomer by dolce & gabbana is super cute, isn’t it??

Per parlare di Bloomer devo assolutamente fare una premessa. Intanto ammetto la mia ignoranza e vi confesso che ho sentito questo termine oggi per la prima volta cercando immagini per tutto un altro tipo di argomento e imbattendomi per caso in questo tipo di “shorts” di cui ovviamente conoscevo già l’esistenza.
Ne esistono di tantissimi modelli, fatti con differenti tessuti e fantasie e li troviamo dalle passerelle ai negozi di intimo. Bloomer non è altro che il cognome della stilisa che li ha resi popolari nel 1850 anche se a quei tempi non erano corti, ma lunghi e si arricciavano alla caviglia. Vabbè dopo questa breve annotazione culturale torniamo a noi…vi piacciono? Li indossate? A me sì! Anche se devo ammettere li preferisco nella versione notte o spiaggia; anche se quello rosso di vernice di dolce & gabbana è super carino, vero???
