and the winner is…’cherry blossoms’!!!

“Between the two litigants, the third one enjoys himself”! I’m not sure if this expression very common in Italy is used everywhere. In this case I’m referring to the post I wrote two days ago on polka dots or stripes?!?. Thinking about that, I realized that my preference goes to a third category of prints: the floral ones ❀✿. Probably one reason is the incredible variety available. This kind of pattern could be so different depending on the color, size and types of flowers that it is possible to insert them in a huge category wearable in hundreds of ways and compose a style that can range from casual to elegant. Among the most beautiful floral dresses we all know Blumarine’s – I have one that I adore – but here I dwell on the simplest one, very British and a little vintage findable almost everywhere: topshop, asos, Brandy & Melville. Do you have you something “floral” in your wardrobe? Is it true that we all love the cherry blossoms??? Now it’s better that I go back studying for my PhD. My deadline is next week and I’m very late!!! ✩✩✩

 e il vincitore è…’fiori di ciliegio’!!! Tra i due litiganti il terzo gode!!! Non so se ovunque si usa questo modo di dire molto comune in Italia che qui utilizzo in riferimento al post di due giorni fa su pois o strisce?!?!. Riflettendo su questo mi sono resa conto che la mia preferenza va a un terza categoria di stampe: quelle floreali. Probabilmente una delle ragioni è l’incredibile varietà disponibile. Questo tipo di pattern può essere ogni volta diverso a seconda delle tonalità, dimensioni e tipologie dei fiori stampati inserendosi  in una casistica talmente vasta indossabile in centinaia di modi e componibile in uno stile personalizzato che può variare dal casual all’elegante. Tra i vestiti floreali più belli sicuramente tutti conosciamo quelli di Blumarine – io ne ho uno che adoro -ma qui mi soffermo su capi più semplici, molto British e vintage trovabile un po’ ovunque: topshop, asos, Brandy&Melville. Nel vostro armadio c’è qualche “capo fiorito”? Non è poi vero che tutti adoriamo i ‘fiori di ciliegio’???E’ meglio che torno a studiare per il mio dottorato. Ho la consegna la prossima settimana e sto messa veramente male! ✩✩✩
