Ballet mon amour: part 0

March 22, 2012

Perhaps because it is still too little time since I’ve started writing on this blog or maybe because it’s a true great passion and for this reason it’s intimate and gets instinctive to keep it secret, I had never talked about the importance that Ballet has for me. Not only it has always been a constant since I was a child, but above all it has always been avaluable source of inspiration and “survival” in every moment of my life. From a certain point of view it has  the same role that dance has always had in the fashion world: ballerina flats, flowing skirts, light fabrics, soft sweaters wrap – up, corsets and lace. I chose to post some shots of a campaign titled “Tough Dancer” by Freja Beha, MagazineApril 2010, Ph: Craig McDean and other inspirational pics.

I love your beautiful photos of ballerinas; lovely!, and your blog!; your words and photos are pure inspiration…thank you.
As a child, I only wished and hoped to be like other little girls; a ballerina; my secret passion, but being less fortunate then other little girls at that time, was not possible. As an artist, I am able to connect my dreams through painting, which consume my canvas with imagination, hopes and dreams of when I was that little girl.

    • Love your comment. Dancing is a way to be one thing with our soul, mind and body. It’s a form of art exactly as the artist’s one. That’s probably the reason why you are able to live that dream again and again. Thank a lot for your words. ❤❤❤
