“I like real fashion not dressing up”

This is a sentence I really love and share deeply. It has been pronounced by Bill Cunningham, the first  blogger or better the first street photographer since he doesn’t have a blog, but all his photos are published on the New York Times and in his office. His archive is a collection built over 30 years with a specific attitude not to let anything go. You can meet him with his camera ready not to miss a single detail. In my opinion his success is  partly due to his ability to photograph what he likes and hits him without any fear or any desire to please. His style is strong and determined and in my opinion we can find in his work the roots of the street-style: the activity to be on the road to look for inspiration.
