YSL and Alexander Mc Queen create piece of nature

It’s incredible how many times we can find different forms of nature in fashion world. Mystical atmospheres, natural environments or simply clothes covered with flowers are more common then you can imagine. Just look for it.

When I first saw this dress I just thought “wow”, that’s so cool. I know, it is not properly an “everyday”, but it is like a dream becoming reality.

This is a wedding drees and it might seem to belong to the overtly whimsical side of fashion. It consists of two well-positioned wreaths of fabric flowers and it has been shown at the Yves Saint Laurent: an art Made for the Body – MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE MONTRÉAL, MAY 29 TO SEP 28 2008

“Fashion’s role is not simply to make women more beautiful but also to reassure them, give them confidence and allow them to assert themselves.” Yves Saint Laurent

Strength and fragility is a constant in the british stylist’s collection.
